Dental Care

Imagine if you didn't brush your teeth for years...What would your breath smell like?  Would it be painful?

Well, this is the situation for many of our four-legged friends.  And we wonder why it smells so bad when they kiss us!

Dental health affects your pet's overall health.  It is imperative that you have your pet's teeth checked at least annually and it is very beneficial to brush their teeth regularly (with pet-specific products).  Just like humans, dogs and cats also need their teeth cleaned professionally.

At Highlands Animal Clinic, we are fully equipped to safely anesthetize your pet for a thorough dental scaling and polishing (+ dental x-rays and extractions, if necessary.)
